Lovers Of Moment

Do we get the Copyrights or a Print Release for our photos?

Copyrights: No, sorry. We retain the copyrights to all the images. No image may be reproduced or altered in any manner (besides basic cropping) without our explicit consent.

Printing rights are released with the purchase of the High-Resolution files (included in all of our Wedding Collections), which allows printing and usage for personal needs. Example: Printing photos for yourselves or gifts, posting it up on your personal Facebook page or Instagram.

Regardless of obtaining the Print Release for the images, we highly recommend that all prints be ordered through our professional print lab (via your personal online gallery) for color and quality we intentionally post-processed each image to achieve when printed (on archival paper, with archival inks)… If you do choose to print elsewhere, we are not responsible for print color errors when ordered through any other lab than our own.

Do you accept credit cards?

Yes, we take all major credit cards. We do not hold dates. To book your date, a non-refundable deposit and contract must be submitted.

Do you have backup equipment?

Of course! I bring backups of everything from cameras, memory cards, to batteries.

Do you have business insurance?

Absolutely! I’ll be more than happy to provide a certificate of insurance to your venue upon request.

Do you shoot weddings alone?

Depending on the level of investment, I will always bring either an assistant or second photographer.

How do you store our images and for how long?

We have multiple backup external drives that guard your photos with their life. Along with external hard drives we have back everything up on a Cloud system. So even in cases of fire or theft, your photos will be safe. We’ll keep your images on our hard drives for 1 year after we deliver the USB. We suggest keeping a copy in a safety deposit box and backing up your files on another device immediately upon arrival. Remember, USBs and discs have a shelf life of 10 years until data becomes corrupted. Your online gallery is live only for one year.

We recommend booking at least 6-12 months in advance. Our wedding seasons (autumn –spring) fill up quickly. We only take a limited amount weddings to ensure our creative energy and time to each couple!

How many black and white photos will we get?

Around 10-20% of the entire body of images will be black and white.

How many photos do you shoot at a wedding, how many do we get to keep?

Each wedding varies and will depend on the level of investment, but we typically deliver 50-100 edited high res photos for every hour of coverage. But to us it is more about quality than quantity.

If my event lasts longer than expected, will you stay? Is there an additional charge?

Of course! We always ask if you’d like us to stay longer, especially if you have a grand exit planned . We charge our regular hourly rates if you decide for additional hours before or on the wedding date.

Should the bride and groom see each other before the wedding?

Seeing one another before the ceremony gives the bride and groom a chance to chat, flirt, and take in the moment just between the two of them. We also have the chance to do all your photographs before the ceremony so that you or your guests don’t have to wait around afterwards.

We’ll be able to use all natural light and make a relaxed timeline for the day. This keeps everyone involved less stressed and allows the couple to actually enjoy the wedding day.

What is your photography style?

Soft and romantic.

What kind of cameras do you use, film or digital?

I LOVE film, but I shoot digital! I only use professional grade Canon bodies and lenses.

What should we wear for our engagement session?

Try soft colours, simple patterns, or solid gem colours (greens, reds, etc.). Wear colours that flatter your skin tone. Bring cardigans or jackets in case it gets cold, a few pair of shoes, and one or two extra outfits. Look through Pinterest, wedding blogs, or magazines for inspiration. And always keep in mind the scenery and setting of your location. An engagement guide packed with tips and advice will be provided for you to look through upon booking!

What’s your approach on the wedding day?

We strive to document the pretty details, the organic moments, and the quiet beauty of your wedding day.

We anticipate, read the vibe, and let moments happen. You won’t find us with huge lighting equipment, clumsy bags, or stands. We like to blend in and be un-obstructive. However, we direct and step in when we need to – moving your dress or invitations to be composed artfully or directing during portraits for luminous natural light and flattering angles.

When will our photos be ready?

You’ll have the online gallery within 4-6 weeks and a USB/keepsake box within 6-8 weeks.

Will you be posting about our wedding on your social media sites and submit to wedding magazines and blogs?

Yes, we will be posting our selected favourites on our Facebook and Instagram accounts. Afterwards, we sometimes do a short post on our blog as well. We do not submit all the weddings we’ve shot to magazines and wedding blogs, but if we do, we always ask for your permission and for a little blurb of your experience/highlights of you wedding day.
